Ms. Methvin graduated from Young Harris College with a B.A. in Art, and an M.F.A. in Visual Arts from Azusa Pacific University. She has been in the field of Christian education for nearly six years. Her first four years of teaching were specifically as an art teacher, some of which also included technology components. She has taught all grade levels as well as college-level, as she currently teaches an online art history course for a tribal college in Nebraska. She is honored to teach fifth grade here at PCS and when she’s not in the classroom, she is likely spending time at home with her cat Lily, or wedding planning with her fiancé Luke.
